Clear Lake has a reputation for being one of the best places in the country to fish for large-mouthed bass. And the best time to fish for them is in the spring. Hence, the timing of the annual Team Bass Tournament—this year it’s March 25–26, 6 a.m.–3 p.m. The official location is the Library Park 3rd Street launch ramp in Lakeport.
