Child abuse is a tragedy, but as Sita-Marie Pillay, PsyD, says in this issue’s article “Unseen Child Abuse” (see page 18), it’s not uncommon. Sometimes it happens without detection, which is why the Children’s Advocacy Walk and Festival aims to raise awareness about the problem. With its theme, Celebrating the World’s Children, this year’s festival will offer free games, food, resources, and prizes.
