Galileo, Michelangelo, and Shakespeare—the Renaissance gave us all of them. The Lake County Renaissance Faire will celebrate the era of cultural rebirth with Shakespearean theater, costumed singers, and demos in leather working, archery, brass rubbing, wool spinning, and period games. There will also be an auction featuring artwork, local fruit and wines, handmade jewelry, and gift certificates for services and products. Produced by the Konocti Christian Academy, the festival will be held on May 6, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport.
