Sonoma County Club Volleyball
There are two main club volleyball programs in the greater Santa Rosa area.
Sonoma West Volleyball Club—Sonoma West Volleyball Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of girls volleyball in Sonoma County. Through volleyball, they promote discipline, commitment, dedication and teamwork. They are committed to assisting each athlete achieve her personal goals. Their focus is on building character and self-esteem through hard work and commitment while athletes learn the fundamental skills of volleyball, acquire knowledge of and love for the game and compete at their highest potential. They strive to place every girl who wants to play on an appropriate level team.
Empire Club Volleyball— The Empire Volleyball Club is an organization committed to teaching and developing volleyball skills as well as emphasizing the values of teamwork, responsibility, self-discipline and self-motivation. The purpose of the club is to provide athletes with high quality volleyball training and competition throughout the year.
Empire Volleyball Club has earned recognition as one of the top clubs in the country, and Empire has gained recognition among college coaches for the development of well-trained volleyball players. Many of their former players have gone on to play at numerous colleges and universities across the country.
