Watching fireworks at night is the traditional way to celebrate the Fourth of July. But the City of Ukiah thinks that there should be a daytime party, too. And so every year it holds the free All American Picnic in the Park. Music, arts and crafts, bounce houses, organized games, and free swimming will all be part of the fun this July 4, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., in Todd Grove Park in Ukiah.
