Support Local Artists

Buying local doesn’t just mean shopping on Main Street. It also means going to craft fairs, such as the Willits Holiday Craft Fair, which the Willits Center for the Arts has put on for more than 30 years. The fair gives a place for local makers and artists to sell wares such as wood-turned bowls, hand-tooled leather, silver jewelry, handmade glass, and original watercolors. This year it will be held on December 14, 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and December 15, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., at the Willits Community Center in Willits. On December 14, 10:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., an expanded Children’s Craft Fair, at which kids will both make and sell crafts, will take up the entire second floor of the Willits Center for the Arts in Willits. Admission is free to both events. See willitscenterforthearts.org for more information.
