Santa doesn’t always like to travel by sleigh. Sometimes he likes to fly around in a helicopter. And that’s what he’ll land in when he arrives at the Pear Tree Center in Ukiah on December 7 a noon. Folks can even have their photos taken with him for $5 ($2 for those who use their own phones). At 1 p.m., after his arrival, a chorus will sing songs of the season. And Toys for Tots will be accepting donations noon–4 p.m.  Meanwhile, on December 8, noon–4 p.m., there will be free carriage rides.
