In 1968, a few months after the landmark Civil Rights Act was passed, Charles M. Schulz introduced Franklin, the first Black member of the Peanuts gang. Paige Braddock, an illustrator and Chief Creative Officer at Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates, lets kids can take part in that history when she teaches them how to draw the character.
