Lake County is no stranger to fires. Which is why the North Shore Fire Fund exists—to help finance the necessary technology and equipment to keep Lucerne, Clearlake Oaks, Upper Lake, and surrounding communities safe. The Northshore Fall Festival aims to raise money for the fund through food and art purchases. Craft booths will offer a variety of wares, including handmade clothing, jewelry, baskets, and more, while food booths will offer tri-tip sandwiches, tacos, and beer. In addition to vendors, there will be kids’ activities and live music performed by local rock band Beatz Werkin. Meanwhile, the Upper Lake Fire District station will provide Red Cross and fire zone information. The festival will be held on October 23, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., on Main Street in Upper Lake.
