Help Little Ones Learn About Birds

“If a child is to keep their inborn sense of wonder,” late environmental activist and author Rachel Carson wrote, “they need the companionship of at least one adult who can share it….” With this quote in mind, the National Audubon Society created free Audubon for Kids’ activities, which aim to help children and parents to explore nature together. The activities, which include the Audubon Adventures curriculum, teach families about bird identification, climate change, and even how to draw a black-capped chickadee.
