The Gowans have been tending their orchards for more than 100 years. Today the family has turned their heirloom apples into award-winning hard cider. They’ll be offering samples, paired with gourmet corned beef sausage, at their St. Patrick’s Saturday celebration. Check it out on March 19, 11 a.m.–6 p.m., at their orchards in Philo.
