Who can fling a pumpkin the farthest? That’s what local Future Farmers of America members aim to find out as they compete in the First Annual Farm Bureau Punkin Chunkin Festival. Besides catapults, air cannons, and trebuchets launching squashes into the air, there will also be a grape stomp, petting zoo, pear-throwing contest, and an “anything pumpkin” baking contest.
