The Lake County Outdoor Passion Play brings together more than 150 performers to re-enact the Crucifixion. Mounted Roman soldiers sweep across the 1,000-foot stage; sheep wander across the hillside; a sound system carries the dialogue drawn from the Bible books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Men, women, and children from many denominations come together for this Ecumenical experience. A team of directors, producers, and costume designers work throughout the year to create this experience.
