The Lake County Children’s Council, in partnership with numerous Lake County agencies and organizations, highlights April as Child Abuse Prevention Month with multiple events throughout the community. There will be a Children’s Advocacy Walk and Festival this year in Lakeport and Clearlake. Booths will be set up to provide free resources, education, prizes, and surprises.
