Quarteto Americanos

This celebration of Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz features the seven-time Grammy-nominated Cuban composer and pianist Omar Sosa. Sosa is considered one of the most versatile jazz artists today, fusing jazz, world music, and electronic elements with his Afro-Cuban roots to create a fresh and original urban sound — all with a Latin jazz heart. Sosa performs with collaborators: multi-reed player Sheldon Brown, Josh Jones on drums, and Ernesto Mazar Kindelan on baby bass. General admission is $38.59 before the event and $5 more at the door. Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. Mendocino College Center Theater, 1000 Hensley Creek Rd., Ukiah. Purchase tickets at ukiahconcerts.org.
