The 105th Annual Firemen’s Ball is a community gala featuring a down-home party atmosphere. This major fundraiser is organized by the Fort Bragg Volunteer Fire Department, honoring local first responders and serving as a revival of historical town celebrations. The Fort Bragg Volunteer Fire Department was formed in October of 1891 and currently has 33 members. The evening features music, dancing, an array of regional wines, and beers on tap. Saturday, September 5, from 8 p.m.–midnight at Pentecost Hall, 736 Stewart St., Fort Bragg. Tickets typically range from $10–$20 at the door, with free rides home from the dance available.
