Near & Arnold’s School of Performing Arts & Cultural Education presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical Jr. Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a witty ode to the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! The story of Matilda, a girl who dreams of a better life and empowers the children around her, will have audiences rooting for all Revolting Children. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda JR.takes audiences on a fun-filled journey while also exploring some of the more serious trials of childhood. Children and adults alike will find joy and meaning in the story of a special little girl with an extraordinary imagination. Directed by Evan Gaustad, with musical direction by Janice Hawthorne Timm, choreography by Eryn Schon-Brunner.
