Friends of the Gardens (FOG) is holding a raffle for one stunning pollinator-celebrating handmade quilt. Raffle tickets are available at the Gardens' gift shop, Harvest Market, or from your friendly FOG members. Raffle tickets are $5 each or you can purchase a 6-pack of tickets for $25. Proceeds from this FOG FUNdraiser benefit the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. About the artist: Sharon has been quilting for over 20 years. When she started she was living in a town that had a quilt shop and just got into it! She loves making quilts and giving them away as gifts. Sharon is also a part of the Ocean Wave Quilters Guild in Fort Bragg. Many of her beautiful quilts have been gifted to non-profits in the area. So far she has made two beautiful quilts for the Gardens. A botanical-themed quilt was inspired by time spent among the echoes of the MCBG Farmhouse, and the bees on the pollinator quilt up for raffle go perfectly with the beauty of our Gardens.
