It's time to become Fire Smart! Join your community to prepare for upcoming wildfire season and enjoy this FREE workshop!
Conservation Works is bringing the community a FREE workshop event on Saturday June 21st, 2025 to showcase how crucial grazing animals can be for wildfire mitigation! This event is taking place at Hopland Research and Extension Center from 9am-12pm. There will be free breakfast bites in the morning, a guided tour of the property to view grazing sheep in action, and unique activities centered around grazing animals and fire adapted landscapes! This event is suitable for all ages and attendees are invited to picnic on the preserve at the conclusion of the event. Come check it out!
