Every winter, lambs arrive at the Hopland Research Extension Center in Hopland. And ever year, the center invites kids and grown ups to come and spend time with them. This year, due to the pandemic, lamb visits are being scheduled for family pods. Familiars—up to nine people—can plan a time in February to hang out with and even feed the little bundles of fur. Participants will be sent home with a kit to make a felted wool ball. The fee is $100, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
