Mendo Lake Family Life

Welcome to the Outdoor Mini Mall

How can a business survive when patrons can’t even enter the building? It’s a problem that has plagued local merchants since COVID-19 came on the scene more than a year ago. The Lakeport Main Street Association and the City of Lakeport decided that if people can’t go inside stores, then the stores would come outside, in a monthly event called Lakeport Inside Out. During the event, Lakeport’s Main Street will be blocked off and businesses will bring their merchandise outside for shoppers to peruse. Inside Out is slated for the second Thursday of the month, June–October. The first one will be held on June 10, 5–9 p.m. For more information, go to lakeportmainstreet.com.
