What’s a steam-punk pumpkin look like? Find out at this year’s Ukiah Country PumpkinFest, where steam punk will reign supreme. The streets of downtown Ukiah will be filled with craft vendors, art exhibits, a beer and wine garden, and live music. There will even be rides on a Ferris wheel. And Smokey the Bear will make an appearance at the festival’s Fire and Safety Expo. Kicking off on October 16 with a 10 a.m. parade that begins at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds in Ukiah, festivities will run October 16, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and October 17, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., in downtown Ukiah.
