Sweet and tart, Meyer lemons grow in many a Sonoma County yard. The fruit trees are part of a local history of citrus cultivation. And so is the annual Citrus Fair in Cloverdale. Besides the usual carnival rides, this year’s fair will feature a parade, cabaret, talent show, and the Lily Lemon and Oran Orange contest for kids. The fair will be held April 21–24 at the fairgrounds in Cloverdale. The parade will be held on April 23 at 11 a.m.; the only cabaret tickets available are for the April 24, 7 p.m. performance.
