Before Ben Bromley was a playwright, he was a newspaper columnist. So when he created Fishwrap, a comedy about the struggles of a hometown paper in the digital age, he was writing from experience. Bromley’s zany characters—a nerdy science reporter, hypochondriac office manager, and chronically disheveled editor—will be brought to life when the Lake County Theatre Company performs the play at Soper Reese Theatre in Lakeport.
