String and Shadow Puppet Theater presents “Or So It Would Seam,” Summer Tour. Called “A giant puppet voyage into the hidden universe,” this touring puppet show weaves together a variety of puppetry styles, circus arts, and original music. String and Shadow is a theater company based in Olympia, Washington, using “copious amounts of cardboard, fabric, and paper-mache to pluck at the strings of universal wonder, innocence, and joy.” Presented on a free/by-donation basis, the California stops include Blue Lake, Caspar, Forestville, Petaluma, Alameda and Santa Cruz, with dates and times unique to each city.
