Redwood Coast Regional Center

We provide services and supports to over 10,000 people with developmental disabilities living in Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino Counties.

RCRC provides intake, assessment, diagnosis, and coordinates community-based services for over 10,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities in Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, and Mendocino counties. We work in partnership with many individuals, family members, community leaders, and agencies to help the people we serve live quality, independent lives in our region.

Redwood Coast Regional Center (RCRC) is a private, not-for-profit corporation providing services through a contract with the California Department of Developmental Services.

Families whose infants or toddlers (ages birth through three years) have developmental delay or disabilities, or are at risk for developmental delay or disabilities may qualify for early intervention services or developmental monitoring. RCRC also serves children, over age 3, and adults with developmental disabilities through the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act (Lanterman Act). For information about eligibility, see Applying for Services

RCRC’s primary goal is to support people receiving services to develop and realize a plan for their life based on their own lifestyle, personal preferences, and needs.
