COVID-19 Vaccinations

Booster Doses Booster doses for all vaccine types (Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen) are now available in Mendocino County for everyone age 18 and older (age 12 and older for Pfizer).

Pfizer Vaccine Approved by FDA On August 23, 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the first COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine has been known as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, and will now be marketed as Comirnaty (koe-mir’-na-tee), for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older. Pfizer vaccines are still offered for 5-15 year olds under emergency use authorization.

3rd Doses 3rd doses are recommended for moderately to severely immunocompromised people. A doctor's note is no longer necessary. Please see the Vaccines FAQ for more information.
